During the research process, we had the opportunity to explore different perspectives on how to promote resilience in neighbourhoods and cities, which resulted in a variety of resources. The research project “From Prevention to Resilience” aims to develop insights and tools for designers, policymakers and other professionals to contribute to more resilient cities and neighbourhoods. Point of departure is public space as a site for intervention, whether in response to the COVID-19 pandemic or in anticipation of future shocks and stressors.
